As part of our campaign for Digital UK, we’re showing people in London they don’t need to waste money replacing their TV in order to be ready for next April’s switchover.

We've commissioned contemporary artist Holly Freeman on behalf of Digital UK to tour the capital with a unique sculpture made from reclaimed TVs, to let people know their options and encouraging them to recycle their old sets responsibly if they are buying a new box.
Based in Tooting, London, Holly creates installations on the back of a 1979 electric milk float built from salvaged items, entitled the 'AFLOAT' project. This commission helps bring Digital UK's recycling message to life for consumers who engage with the artwork, and the mobile platform provides a moving beacon to draw people across the capital's attention to the switchover taking place next year.
The tour takes in some of the boroughs with the highest numbers of analogue TV sets to be converted by April 2012, including Ealing, Enfield, Lambeth and Lewisham, and making stops in centres such as Acton, Brixton, Bromley and Fulham.
